Two Month Hiatus

I thought putting my thoughts down in a blog would be easy… I was wrong. Don’t get me wrong, the technology couldn’t be simpler and I have plenty of thoughts (I won’t venture an argument about how legit they are); finding the time to write a thought every couple days is the challenge for me. In a day full of a million priorities, blogging just doesn’t seem to bubble to the top for me. Heard some interesteresting NPR podcasts on the bus this morning.

First, I hope to make it to 93 in good health and if I do, I hope I can still be this logical: Whitney R. Harris This I Believe story.

Second, Sarita and I haven’t talked a bunch about where we’d want to live in the future (at this point we’re just working on getting settled in one house as I have only unpacked 50% of my things) but we’ve discussed the struggle between urban and suburban; this NPR story about cul-de-sacs provides an interesting statistic about childhood deaths in suburban streets. Turns out the soccer moms and dads tend to drive a little bit more crazy trying to beat the neighbors to the Starbucks in the morning.
