My mobile device crashed on vacation (American Airlines website is not nice to mobile browsers) so was unable to make some posts this weekend. A few highlights of the trip:
- Hampton Inn Dubuque is excellent; brand new hotel, not luxury, but very comfy and incedunly clean.
- Galena, IL has a very active historic district with great shopping district. Bought two works of art at Chicago Contemporary Art.
- getting to the wedding took is through three states; started in Iowa, entered Illinois (where we should have stopped but we missed the turn and), entered Wisconsin, turned back to find the church in Illinois.
